What is a Basin Waste?

A basin waste is simply the unit that connects your basin drainage hole to the waste pipes. It is an essential part of any plumbed basin.

Basin Wastes

Our basin wastes are specifically designed for our Perrin & Rowe and The Water Monopoly basins, and for that reason, are only available when purchased with one of these products. We offer traditional chain plugs, push-button wastes, domed wastes, and remote pop-up wastes.

Remote Pop-Up Basin Wastes

A remote pop-up waste is connected to the operating lever on certain Perrin & Rowe tap spouts by a connecting arm to lift and lower the plug. This is a reliable option and eliminates the need to put your hand into the basin of soiled water to drain it.

Overflow Basin Wastes

If you have chosen a basin with an overflow outlet you will require a slotted waste.

Bath Wastes

For a bath without an overflow, choose our 40mm bath waste with metal plug and chain.

Overflow Bath Wastes

Our bath waste with metal overflow pipe is an essential item if you are purchasing a bath where the overflow pipe will be exposed. All the pipework will be in a matching finish to your Perrin & Rowe tapware. If the overflow pipe is going to be fully concealed you may only require and overflow system with plastic overflow tube.
