Situated in an Art Deco heritage building, the designer wanted to create a clean, light filled interior with all the functionality of a family home. In a pocket sized Art Deco home they had to get rather creative with design. Within the kitchen they have "hidden" all of the functions - Integrated fridges, white appliances, handleless cabinet doors and an integrated stone and sink benchtop makes the whole space seamless.
The washer/dryer is hidden behind a slide away pocket doors as are all of the benchtop appliances. They went for a Victorian style profile door for the joinery which was hand painted to give a softer appearance in the kitchen and bedroom.
