Joseph Giles - Rack bolt with key and escutcheon

The versatile mortice rack bolt is designed for additional security, can be used on both doors and windows, and is able to be fitted either horizontally or vertically. Each bolt is fitted with the same key, and is available with four different backsets: 25, 32, 45 and 57mm.

Supplied as a single item, with a receiver plate, escutcheon (BL1026), key (BL1025), and the necessary fixings.

Please note that this product may not be suited for tall or frequently used doors as you must be able to reach the top bolt to operate. In this case, we recommend the BL1001 solid brass lever action recessed bolt.
